Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des vorhandenen Abdampfrückstandes von Flugkraftstoffen sowie des Abdampfrückstands von Ottokraftstoffen oder anderen leichtflüchtigen Destillaten fest. Es beinhaltet die Bestimmung von ethanolhaltigen Produkten (bis zu einem Volumenanteil von 85 %), sauerstoffhaltigen Verbindungen in Form von Ethern und Additiven für die Ablagerungskontrolle. Für die Bestimmung des Abdampfrückstandes von Ethanol(E85)-Kraftstoff für Fahrzeuge sind keine Präzisionsdaten verfügbar (siehe 14.1). Für andere Kraftstoffe als Flugkraftstoffe ist auch ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des heptanunlöslichen Anteils des Rückstandes beschrieben.
