Diese ÖNORM beschreibt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung von Organochlorpestiziden, polychlorierten Biphenylen (PCB) und Chlorbenzolen (außer Mono- und Dichlorbenzol) in Wasser. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar auf Proben, die nicht mehr suspendierte Feststoffe enthalten als 0,005 g/l. Bei Vorhandensein von anderen organischen Stoffen, suspendierten Stoffen und Kolloiden sind mehr Störungen zu erwarten. Das beschriebene Verfahren erfaßt bestimmte PCBs, erlaubt aber keine Aussage über den Gesamtgehalt an PCBs.
