Dieses Dokument legt zwei vereinfachte Routineverfahren zur Bestimmung des Amylose-Massenanteils von gemahlenem Nicht-Parboiled-Reis fest. Der Hauptunterschied zwischen den beiden Verfahren besteht in der Vorgehensweise bei der Dispergierung: Verfahren A legt die Heiß-Dispergierung fest und Verfahren B legt die Kalt-Dispergierung fest. Beide Verfahren sind anwendbar auf Reis mit einem Amylose-Massenanteil von mehr als 5 %.
