Dies sind beispielsweise Systeme aus Metallblech mit dämpfendem Kunststoffbelag oder Verbundsysteme, die aus zwei Metallblechen mit einer Kunststoffzwischenschicht bestehen. Für viele Zwecke ist es vorteilhaft, diese Eigenschaften als Funktion von Temperatur und Frequenz zu bestimmen.
