Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur quantitativen Bestimmung des Gehaltes an monomeren Diisocyanaten in Beschichtungsstoffen, Klebstoffen und sonstigen flüssigen oder pastenförmigen Stoffen fest. Dieses Verfahren eignet sich zur Quantifizierung der folgenden monomeren Diisocyanate: Methylendiphenyl-Diisocyanat (MDI, 2,4ż MDI und 4,4ż MDI), Toluoldiisocyanat (TDI, 2,6 TDI, 2,4 TDI), Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI) (cis/trans) und Hexamethylendiisocyanat (HDI,1,6 HDI) in unterschiedlichen Matrices für Konzentrationen zwischen 0,01 % und 2,0 % (Massenanteil). Bei höheren Konzentrationen wird vor der Derivatisierung eine geeignete Verdünnung mit P-Nitrobenzyl-N-Propylamin (PNBPA) vorgenommen. Die Messungen werden mittels Ultra-Hochleistungsflüssigkeitschromatographie mit einem Detektor für mehrere Wellenlängen durchgeführt.
