Dieses Dokument legt die folgenden semi-quantitativen Verfahren für die Beurteilung der Transparenz von Gewässern fest: a) Messung der Sichtweite mithilfe des Transparenzprüfröhrchens (anwendbar für klares und leicht getrübtes Wasser), b) Messung der Sichtweite der oberen Wasserschichten mithilfe der Sichtscheibe (speziell anwendbar für Oberflächengewässer, Badegewässer, Abwässer und oftmals in der Überwachung im maritimen Bereich), c) Messung der Sichtweite mittels Sichtscheibe durch Taucher in einer vorgesehenen Tiefe.
