ÖNORM EN ISO 7500-2 gilt für die Prüfung von Prüfmaschinen, die für Zeitstand-Zugversuche mit einachsiger Beanspruchung nach ISO 204 verwendet werden. Die Prüfung besteht aus einer allgemeinen Untersuchung der Prüfmaschine, einer Prüfung der durch die Prüfmaschine erzeugten Kraft. Diese Norm gilt für die Zeitstandprüfmaschinen mit direkter Gewichtsbelastung, für solche mit Hebelübersetzung und solche mit Federbelastungssystem. Prüfmaschinen mit einem Kraftmesssystem müssen nach ISO 7500-1 geprüft werden.
