Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Schüttdichte von festen, feinkörnigen Düngemitteln fest. Das Verfahren gilt für Düngemittel, die einen hohen Anteil an Teilchen mit einem Durchmesser unter 0,5 mm aufweisen. Das Verfahren gilt nur für trockene Düngemittel. Wenn das Düngemittel während des Transportes oder während der Lagerung Feuchtigkeit aufgenommen hat, muß es vor der Bestimmung in einer Klimakammer mit konstant niedriger Luftfeuchtigkeit getrocknet werden.
