Dieses Dokument legt ein allgemeines Prüfverfahren zum Vergleichen des Aufhellvermögens eines Weißpigments mit dem Aufhellvermögen einer vereinbarten Probe desselben Typs fest. Es werden zwei Durchführungen (A und B) festgelegt. Durchführung A ist schneller als Durchführung B und eignet sich für die Prüfung einer Pigmentprobe; Durchführung B ist besser für die Prüfung mehrerer Proben, und besonders wenn ein Pigment mit unbekanntem Aufhellvermögen geprüft wird.
