Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen des Einbrennverlustes von Pulverlacken, die durch elektrostatisches Versprühen oder Beflockung oder Fluidisierbettverfahren aufzutragen sind, fest. Das in diesem Dokument beschriebene Verfahren ist eine einfache praktische Prüfung, die bei Pulverlacken mit einem Einbrennverlust bis zu etwa 2 % (Massenanteil) ausreichend genaue Ergebnisse liefert. Oberhalb von 2 % nimmt die Genauigkeit mit zunehmendem Einbrennverlust ab. Nach dem Verfahren wird der Gehalt an allen flüchtigen Anteilen einschließlich Wasser bestimmt. Die thermogravimetrische Prüfung, wie in der Normenreihe ISO 11358 beschrieben, kann als Vergleichsprüfung verwendet werden.
