Dieses Dokument legt allgemeine Anforderungen und physikalische Prüfungen für nicht feuerwiderstandsfähige Schläuche in kleinen Wasserfahrzeugen fest, in denen Benzin oder ein Benzin-Ethanol-Gemisch oder Diesel oder ein Diesel-FAME-Gemisch geleitet wird, wobei Schläuche mit Innendurchmesser bis einschließlich 10 mm für Betriebsdrücke bis höchstens 0,34 MPa ausgelegt sind und Schläuche mit Innendurchmesser bis 63 mm für Betriebsdrücke bis 0,25 MPa ausgelegt sind. Es gilt für Schläuche auf kleinen Wasserfahrzeugen mit fest eingebauten Kraftstoffsystemen. Festlegungen für feuerwiderstandsfähige Schläuche sind in ISO 7840:2021 gegeben. Festlegungen für fest eingebaute Kraftstoffsysteme sind in ISO 10088:2013 enthalten.
