Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Eignung metallischer Rohre mit kreisförmigem Querschnitt fest, einer plastischen Verformung durch Falten unterzogen zu werden. Das Verfahren darf auch zur Sichtbarmachung von Fehlern in den Rohren angewendet werden. Diese Internationale Norm gilt für Rohre mit einem Außendurchmesser von höchstens 600 mm und einer Wanddicke von höchstens 15 % des Außendurchmessers. Der Bereich des Außendurchmessers oder der Wanddicke, für den diese Internationale Norm gilt, kann genauer in der zutreffenden Produktnorm festgelegt sein.
