Dieses Dokument gilt für Werkstoffe, die für autogenes Brennschneiden, für Plasmaschneiden und für Laserstrahlschneiden geeignet sind. Es ist anzuwenden für autogene Brennschnitte von 3 mm bis 300 mm, Plasmaschnitte von 0,5 mm bis 150 mm und für Laserstrahlschnitte von 0,5 mm bis 32 mm. Dieses Dokument enthält geometrische Produktspezifikationen und Maß- (Qualitäts-)toleranzen. Die geometrischen Produktspezifikationen sind anwendbar, wenn Bezug auf dieses Dokument in Zeich-nungen oder in betreffenden Dokumenten, z. B. Lieferbedingungen, genommen wird. Soll dieses Dokument ausnahmsweise auch für Teile angewendet werden, die durch unterschiedliche Schneidprozesse hergestellt werden, so ist dies besonders zu vereinbaren. Ebenheitsfehler werden in diesem Dokument nicht als solche behandelt. Es wird auf die aktuellen Normen für die verwendeten Werkstoffe verwiesen.
