Die Prüfung der Wasserdurchdringung (Sprühverfahren) gilt für textile Flächengebilde, bei denen ein bestimmter Grad der Wasserbeständigkeit oder ein Wasserabweisungsvermögen erwartet wird. Die mit diesem Verfahren erhaltenen Ergebnisse werden vom Wasserabweisungsvermögen der Fasern oder der Behandlung des ausgerüsteten Materials sowie auch vom Aufbau des Materials bestimmt.
