Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Höchstzugkraft von Vliesstoffen im vorbehandelten bzw. nassen Zustand mit einem Grab-Zugversuch fest. Dieses Prüfverfahren ist nicht anwendbar für Materialien mit einer hohen Dehnbarkeit. Ein Vergleich der Prüfergebnisse von Zugprüfmaschinen, die nach unterschiedlichen Prinzipien arbeiten, ist nicht anwendbar. Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren unter Verwendung von Zugprüfgeräten mit konstanter Verformungsgeschwindigkeit (CRE, en: constant rate of specimen extension) fest. Geräte mit konstanter Lastgeschwindigkeit (CRL, en: constant rate of loading) werden in Anerkennung der Tatsache, dass diese Geräte weiterhin verwendet werden und nach Vereinbarung verwendet werden können, zu Informationszwecken in ISO 2062:2009, Anhang A, behandelt.
