Das Dokument legt ein Verfahren fest für die direkte Bestimmung einer Massenkonzentration von mehr als 10 µg/l der in Wasser organisch gebundenen Halogene Chlor, Brom und lod (angegeben als Chlorid), die an Aktivkohle adsorbierbar sind. Die Konzentration an anorganischen Chlorid-Ionen in der Analysenprobe muss unter 1 g/l liegen. Proben mit höheren Konzentrationen müssen vor der Analyse verdünnt werden. Wenn eine Filtration vorgenommen wird, kann diese nach dem modifizierten Verfahren (SPE-AOX) vorgenommen werden.
