Dieses Dokument legt Mindestanforderungen an Werkstoff, Auslegung, Bau und Ausführung, Herstellungsverfahren, Herstellungsuntersuchungen und -prüfungen für wiederbefüllbare nahtlose Gasflaschen aus Stahl mit Fassungsräumen bis einschließlich 450 l fest. Es gilt für Flaschen für verdichtete, verflüssigte und gelöste Gase sowie für Flaschen aus vergütetem Stahl mit einer tatsächlichen Zugfestigkeit Rma größer oder gleich 1 100 MPa. Es gilt nicht für Flaschen mit Rma, max > 1 300 MPa bei Durchmessern > 140 mm und garantierten Wanddicken a größer oder gleich 12 mm und für Flaschen mit Rma, max > 1 400 MPa bei Durchmessern kleiner oder gleich 140 mm und garantierten Wanddicken a größer oder gleich 6 mm, da oberhalb dieser Grenzen zusätzliche Anforderungen gelten können.
