Für Telemark-Skibindungssysteme, die unabhängig von der Form der Sohle funktionieren oder die abweichende Anforderungen an die Sohlenmaße stellen, ist es nicht immer erforderlich, dass die Sohle des Telemark-Skischuhs dieser ÖNORM ISO entspricht, um die erforderliche Sicherheit zu erfüllen. Diese ÖNORM ISO gilt für Telemark-Skischuhe der Größen 15,0 und größer nach dem Mondopoint-System (siehe Anhang A).
