Es sind die Abmessungen in mm für Spindelköpfe und Kegelschäfte sowie für deren Zubehör für 7:24-Steilkegel für manuellen Werkzeugwechsel festgelegt. Weiters werden die Bundaußendurchmesser der Kegelschäfte und die Lage der Bundvorderseite zum Spindelkopf für die über die Bundvorderseite befestigten Kegel angegeben. Als Befestigungsgewinde ist sowohl ein metrisches Gewinde als auch ein UN-Gewinde zulässig. Eine Kennzeichnung gemäß § 3 (1) Normengesetz 1971 ist vorgesehen.
