Dieses Dokument legt drei Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Weiterreißwiderstandes von vulkanisierten oder thermoplastischen Elastomeren fest dabei handelt es sich um: ż Verfahren A, Verwendung eines Streifenprobekörpers ż Verfahren B, Verwendung eines Winkelprobekörpers, mit oder ohne einer Einker-bung von definierter Tiefe; ż Verfahren C, Verwendung eines bogenförmigen Probekörpers mit einer Einkerbung. Der erhaltene Wert für den Weiterreißwiderstand ist abhängig von der Form des Pro-bekörpers, der Zuggeschwindigkeit und der Prüftemperatur. Auch Orientierungseffekte im Elastomer können von Bedeutung sein.
