Diese Internationale Norm legt Toleranzen für Öffnungen von Schlüsselweiten bei Schraubenschlüssel und Steckschlüs-seleinsätzen zur Anwendung an Schrauben und Muttern (oder ähnlichen Teilen) mit metrischen Schlüsselweiten, wie in 0 dargestellt, fest. Zu jeder Dimension ist eine Toleranz für den allgemeinen Gebrauch, definiert durch zwei Abweichungen (dem Minimal- und dem Maximal-Wert), in Bezug auf das Nennmaß, angegeben. Diese Abweichungen wurden in Abhängigkeit von den Toleranzen der Schlüsselweiten an den Verbindungselementen, welche in ISO 4759-1 behandelt sind, und unter Berücksichtigung der Herstellungsverfahren für diese Schraubwerkzeuge bestimmt.
