Dieses Dokument bietet einen Überblick über: ż aktuelle Anforderungen in der Europäischen Union und in einzelnen europäischen Staaten zur Beurteilung der Nachhaltigkeit im Bereich von Bauarbeiten, bei denen Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel verwendet werden; ż die Anforderungen der Bauproduktenverordnung (CPR) zur ökologischen Nachhaltigkeit und analysiert die Auswirkungen auf Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel; ż bestehende horizontale Norm EN 15804:2012+A2:2019 in Bezug auf Kernregeln für die Produktkategorie von Bauprodukten und Bewertung, ob sie ohne zusätzliche Dokumente für Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel verwendet werden kann; ż Status der von CEN/TC 154, CEN/TC 227, CEN/TC 254 und allen anderen relevanten TCs für spezifische ergänzende Produktkategorieregeln entwickelten Normentwürfe und Bewertung, ob diese Entwürfe zusätzliche Dokumente speziell für Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel erfordern könnten; ż andere relevante Dokumente. Dieses Dokument soll CEN/TC 336 bei der Beurteilung des Bedarfs an weiteren Normungsdokumenten unterstützen, die bestimmte Produktkategorieregeln für Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel abdecken, oder an anderen Normungsdokumenten im Bereich der Umweltverträglichkeit von bituminösen Bindemitteln. Dieses Dokument behandelt Bitumen und bituminöse Bindemittel gemäß der Beschreibung in EN 12597, einschließlich verschnittener und gefluxter bituminöser Bindemittel sowie Bitumenemulsionen, wie sie bei Bauarbeiten verwendet werden.
