Dieses Dokument (CEN/TS 12697 51:2025) legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Messung der Scherfestigkeit von Asphaltdecken auf Flugplätzen fest. Die Scherfestigkeit hängt von der Dicke (Tiefe) der Fahrbahndeckschicht sowie von den Eigenschaften der verwendeten Straßenbaustoffe ab. Besonders für sehr dünne Asphaltdeckschichten können die Prüfergebnisse durch das für die Binderschicht verwendete Material und den zwischen den beiden Schichten verwendeten Haftkleber beeinflusst werden.
