Táto norma stanovuje požiadavky na nízkonapäťové rozvádzače, ďalej len "rozvádzače" na rozvod elek-trickej energie, riadenie a komunikáciu používané v stavbách, na ktoré sa vzťahujú predpisy protipožiarnej bezpečnosti stavieb ) z hľadiska ich funkčnej odolnosti pri požiari. Stanovuje požiadavky na výrobu, požiarnu charakteristiku, systém preukazovania zhody, metódy kontroly zhody, označovanie, identifikáciu, pokyny na použitie a aplikáciu pri zabudovaní do stavby. Norma sa nevzťahuje na tie rozvádzače, ktoré sa nepoužívajú na trvalú dodávku elektrickej energie pri požiari.
