Vzťahuje sa len na stacionárne drviče/sekačky, ktoré sú konštrukčne navrhnuté na používanie vo vonkajšom priestore a ovládané obsluhou stojacou na zemi.Táto norma sa týka drvičov/sekačiek so vstupnými podávacími otvormi alebo segmentami.Táto norma sa odvoláva na bezpečnostné podávacie otvory.Táto norma sa vzťahuje na rezacie zariadenia ľubovoľného tvaru.Vyhovujúca je bezpečná vzdialenosť rezacieho zariadenia vo vnútri štvorca 250 mm 250 mm, meraná v rovine otvoru (otvorov).
