Táto európska norma sa vzťahuje na miestne jednotky a ovládače, ktoré prijímajú manuálne alebo automaticky spustený poplachový signál aktivovaný aktivačným zariadením a konvertujú ho na poplachový signál na prenos do poplachového prijímacieho centra/pultu centralizovanej ochrany alebo inému príjemcovi poplachu.
