V tejto časti IEC 61347 sa špecifikujú osobitné požiadavky na elektronické striedače a meniče na vysokofrekvenčnú prevádzku trubicových výbojok so studenou katódou používaných v značkách a v sústavách so svietiacimi výbojkovými trubicami prevádzkovaných s výstupným napätím prevyšujúcim 1 000 V, ale neprevyšujúcim 10 000 V na priame pripojenie na napájacie napätia neprevyšujúce 1 000 V pri 50 Hz alebo 60 Hz alebo 1 000 V jednosmerného prúdu.
