Môže sa použiť aj na spúšťacie transformátory, autotransformátorové kompenzátory, presýtené tlmivky a transduktory určené pre lode vrátane jednofázových transformátorov s výkonom menším ako 1 kV.A, a trojfázových transformátorov s výkonom menším ako 5 kV.A, ak nie je určené inak.
