Tato norma stanovuje s prihlednutim k ISO 230/1 zkousky presnosti mechanickych lisu s vylozenim a prislusne mezni uchylky. Plati pro univerzalni stroje obvykle presnosti o tvareci sile do 2500 kN vcetne, coz odpovida nejvetsimu normalizovanemu lisu podle ISO 6898. Norma plati pro overeni presnosti. Nestanovuje zkousky funkce stroje (vibrace, hluk, plynulost pohybu mechanismu, atd.) ani jeho charakteristik (rychlost, posuvy, pruhyb pri zatizeni a pod.). Tyto zkousky musi predchazet mereni presnosti.
