A tool has been developed to be able to assess whether the dry friction behaviour of LL brake blocks under recertification can be considered sufficiently similar to the original approved blocks to state that the blocks are identical. This tool is based on the variation in friction properties of cast iron, and can be applied to LL-blocks in 2xBg and 2xBgu configuration. This document describes the substantiation and development of the tool, and provides a manual for assessors on how to apply the tool.

Fragen des Bremswesens - Begründung und Erklärung für die Nutzung des Übereinstimmungsprüfungstools zur Rezertifizierung von LL-Sohlen|Es wurde ein Tool entwickelt, dass es ermöglicht zu beurteilen, ob das Reibverhalten von LL-Sohlen, deren Zertifizierung verlängert werden soll, unter trockenen Bedingungen ausreichend mit demjenigen der ursprünglich bewerteten Sohlen übereinstimmt, sodass die Sohlen als identisch angesehen werden können. Dieses Tool basiert auf der Variation der Reibeigenschaften von Grauguss und kann auf LL-Sohlen in der Konfiguration 2xBg und 2xBgu angewandt werden. Im vorliegenden Dokument wird das Tool beschrieben und begründet. Es stellt ein Handbuch für Gutachter dar und ist als Anwendungshilfe gedacht.
