1. Scope

This method is for determination of inorganic chloride in various water streams at refineries, containing any of the four major interferences present individually or combined. The lower limit of quantification is 1 mg/kg (mass-ppm). Concentrations greater than 2 mass % can be determined after dilution with deionized water.
