Norma platí pro zobrazování konstrukcí z kamene (schodišť, dlažeb, obkladů, apod.) na výkresech používaných ve stavebnictví. V normě jsou zapracovány i údaje ST SEV 4937-84. Rozsáhlá stavebnětechnická norma obsahuje základní požadavky, požadavky na konstrukční výkresy, montážní výkresy a konstrukce z masivních prvků z přírodního kamene. ČSN 01 3489 byla schválena 23.2.1987 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1988. Nahradila ČSN 73 0113 z 4.8.1971
