V tomto 2. dílu normy jsou zapracovány údaje ST SEV 3294-81. Norma stanoví názvy a definice základních geometrických a kinematických pojmů pro čelní ozubená kola, soukolí a převody se stálým převodovým poměrem. Je definováno asi 40 hesel a jejich české a slovenské názvy. V indexu jsou názvy v bulharštině, maďarštině, němčině, polštině, rumunštině, ruštině. ČSN 01 4602, 2. díl byla schválena 16.1.1984 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.7.1985. Nahradila částečně ČSN 01 4602 z 18.7.1960
