Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 4893-84 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP platí pro zkoušení tlumičů hluku, určených pro pneumostatické mechanismy s pn 0,63 a 1,0 MPa, pracujících se stlačeným vzduchem. Neplatí pro tlumiče hluku brzdicích systémů dopravních prostředků. ČSN 10 9202 byla schválena 29.4.19864 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1987
