Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 6347-88 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP platí pro zařízení sušicí a sušárny pro sušení sypkých, pastovitých a tekutých materiálů v chemickém, chemickofarmaceutickém, mikrobiologickém a dalších odvětvích průmyslu a určuje klasifikaci typizovaných sušicích zařízení a sušáren. Norma obsahuje v tabulce klasifikaci zařízení a ve dvou informačních přílohách názvy a definice a dále schematická označení typů sušicích zařízení (název a nákres). ČSN 12 6009 byla schválena 16.8.1989 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1990
