Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 6375-88 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Platí pro nově vyráběné kontinuální šachtové sušárny obilí s nepřímým ohřevem zrna pracující s recirkulací nebo bez ní a stanoví ukazatele měrné spotřeby tepelné a elektrické energie při sušení potravinářského, průmyslového obilí a osiva (při zachování kvality). Poměrně stručná norma prakticky jen specifikuje vlastnosti sušeného obilí a ukazatele energetických spotřeb. ČSN 12 6201 byla schválena 15.11.1989 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.7.1990
