Tato norma určuje požadavky a rozměry pro stíněné vícežilové kabely s polyetylénovou izolací a s polyetylénovým pláštěm. Tyto kabely jsou určeny pro venkovní použití nebo pro použití v zemi mezi elektrárnami a rozvodnami. Maximální nepřetržitá provozní teplota nesmí překročit 60 C. Maximální teplota při zkratových podmínkách je 130 C (max. doba trvání 5 s). Tato norma zahrnuje následující třídu kabelů: Vícežilové kabely pro jmenovité napětí 450/750 V se společným stíněním. U kabelů, které mají průměr jádra 1,5 a 2,5 mm2 je počet žil maximálně 61.
