A1 Tato evropská norma specifikuje požadavky pro kruhové trubky z nelegované oceli vhodné pro svařování a řezání závitů a stanoví několik volitelných požadavků po konečnou úpravu konců trubek a povlaků. Platí pro trubky jmenovitého vnějšího průměru 10,2 mm až 165,1 mm (rozměr závitu 1/8 až 6) ve dvou řadách, střední a těžké a ve třech typech jmenovitých tloušťek.Trubky mohou být použity pro přepravu kapalin právě tak jako pro další aplikace.
