Evropská norma EN 10343 specifikuje technické dodací požadavky pro výrobky z oceli (tyče, široká plochá ocel, za tepla válcovaný pás a plech a výkovky) určené pro použití ve stavebním průmyslu, vyrobeny z přímo kalitelných nelegovaných a legovaných ocelí k zušlechťování a dodávány v jednom ze stavů tepelného zpracování uvedených pro různé druhy výrobků. Oceli jsou všeobecně určené k výrobě zušlechtěných součástek, ale mohou se také použít ve stavu normalizovaném.
