Tato část EN 1366 specifikuje metodu pro stanovení požární odolnosti zdvojených podlah a dutinových podlah, vystavených požáru v dutině pod podlahou. Ohřev ohněm se na zkušební vzorek aplikuje podle: a) normové teplotní křivky; b) "redukované" teplotní křivky, která sleduje normovou teplotní křivku pouze do 500 °C. Po dosažení 500 °C se teplota v peci udržuje na této hodnotě. Tento dokument nestanoví požární odolnost základní podlahy, na níž je zdvojená podlaha nebo dutinová podlaha konstruována; požární odolnost základní podlahy je uvedena v EN 1365-2
