Tato Část 2 EN 14889 specifikuje požadavky na polymerová vlákna do betonu, malty a injektážní malty pro použití se statickou funkcí nebo bez statické funkce. POZNÁMKA - Použití vláken se statickou funkcí je tam, kde přidávání vláken je určeno ke zvýšení únosnosti betono-vého dílce. Tato norma platí pro vlákna určená k použití ve všech druzích betonu a malt včetně stříkaného betonu, betonu pro betonové podlahy a betonové prefabrikáty, monolitického betonu (in situ, v místě aplikace) a betonu pro opravy.
