Tato norma je použitelná pro stanovení zearalenonu v krmivech v koncentracích od 30 _g/kg do 3 000 _g/kg. Zearalenon je ze vzorku extrahován organickým rozpouštědlem. Extrakt rozpouštědla je poté zředěn fosfátový-m tlumícím roztokem, aby se získal vodný extrakt, který se aplikuje na imunoafinitní kolony obsahující protilátky specifické pro zearalenon. Analyt se na koloně izoluje, předčistí a zakoncentruje a poté se oddělí od protilátek elučním rozpouštědlem. Zearalenon je kvantitativně stanoven vysokoúčinnou kapalinovou chromatografií (HPLC) s fluorescenční detekcí
