Tato norma stanovuje požadavky na pájitelný lakovaný měděný vodič pro vinutí kruhového průřezu, třída 155, s dvojitou lakovou vrstvou. Spodní vrstva je z polyurethanové pryskyřice, kterou lze modifikovat za předpokladu, že bude chemicky totožná s původní pryskyřicí a splní všechny předepsané požadavky na vodič. Vrchní vrstva je z polyamidové pryskyřice. Rozsah jmenovitých průměrů jader, na které se tato norma vztahuje, je tento: stupeň 1: 0,050 mm až 1,600 mm včetně; stupeň 2: 0,050 mm až 1,600 mm včetně. Jmenovité průměry jader stanoví kapitola 4 v IEC 60317-0-1:2013
