Tato norma stanovuje požadavky na měděný vodič pro vinutí pravoúhlého průřezu ovinutý páskou, s teplotním indexem 220. Tato izolace je tvořena jedním nebo více ovinutími páskou z aromatického polyamidu (aramidu) o různých tloušťkách. Rozsah jmenovitých rozměrů jader, na které se tato norma vztahuje, je tento: šířka min. 2,00 mm, max. 16,00 mm; tloušťka min. 0,80 mm, max. 5,60 mm.
