Může se také použít na další omezené prostory s asymetrickými klimatickými podmínkami. Je v první řadě určena k posouzení tepelných podmínek, kdy odchylky z tepelné neutrality jsou relativně malé. Příslušné metody obsažené v této části ISO 14505 mohou být vybrány k zahrnutí do specifických výkonových norem pro zkoušení klimatických systémů vozidel a podobných omezených prostorů.
