Tato norma určuje dvě metody stanovení chloridů průtokovou analýzou - stanovení chloridů průtokovou analýzou se spektrofotometrickou detekcí a stanovení chloridů průtokovou analýzou s potenciometrickou detekcí. Obě metody lze použít k analýze vod (včetně výluhů) obsahujících chloridy v koncentracích 1 mg/l až 1 000 mg/l. Rozsah stanovení lze popřípadě změnit. Metoda s potenciometrickou detekcí je vhodná také pro zakalené nebo zbarvené vzorky.
