Norma obsahuje ISO 9222-2:1989. ISO 9222 sestává z těchto dvou částí, pod společným názvem Technické výkresy. Těsnění pohybujících se částí. Část 1: Schematické zobrazování. Obecné zásady. Část 2: Schematické zobrazování. Tato druhá část ČSN ISO 9222 stanoví podrobné zásady schematického zobrazování těsnění. Toto zobrazení se použije tehdy, není-li nutné zobrazit přesný tvar těsnění a jeho tvarové podrobnosti, např. u montážních výkresů. Normalizován je především způsob zobrazování, včetně nákresů. ČSN ISO 9222-2 (01 3235) byla vydána v březnu 1994. Nahradila společně s ČSN ISO 9222-1 ČSN 01 3235 z 29.4.1986
