Toto technické pravidlo platí pre novobudované a rekonštruované regulačné zostavy pripojené na distribučné plynovody (distribučné rozvody plynu) alebo distribučnú sieť plynovodov a pripojovacích plynovodov (plynových prípojok) na pripojenie odberných plynových zariadení k distribučnej sieti s najvyšším vstupným tlakom do 400 kPa (4 barov) vrátane, ktoré sú umiestnené v intraviláne obce. Určuje zásady projektovania, konštrukcie, výstavby, skúšok, prevádzky a údržby regulačných zostáv tlaku plynu. Nahrádza TPP 609 02 z januára 2013 v celom rozsahu.
