Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 3007-81 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP určuje zkušební metodu pro stanovení minerálních příměsí (písku). Princip metod a postup jejich provedení je podrobně popsán. Norma se vztahuje k zjišťování některých kvalitativních znaků (jakosti) významných pro hygienu výživy. ČSN 56 0246-12 byla schválena 6.12.1982 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1983. Nahradila čl. 55 ČSN 56 0246 z 30.9.1964.
"Změnou 1)-12/1997", vydanou v prosinci 1997, se s účinností od 1.1.1998 ruší kapitoly 2. Nyní ČSN ISO 762 (56 0420)
