Tato česká norma specifikuje horizontální metodu stanovení koagulázopozitivních stafylokoků ve výrobcích určených k lidské výživě a ke krmení zvířat. Obsahuje techniku průkazu a techniku MPN doporučené pro stanovení u výrobků, u nichž lze očekávat přítomnost stresovaných stafylokoků a jejich nízkého počtu, například v sušených výrobcích. Je využitelná i pro vzorky prostředí v místech výroby potravin a zacházení s nimi. Obě techniky zahrnují použití tekuté půdy podle Giollitiho a Cantoniho a vyočkování na Baird - Parkerův agar nebo agar s králičí plasmou a fibrinogenem.
